 letion of this workshop\, participants will receive a certificate of compl
 etion valid for eight continuing education units\, an Explore Your Environ
 ment PLT guide\, a Project WILD guide\, & have the confidence & skills to 
 use PLT & Project WILD SOL-aligned activities with students. * The fee for
  this workshop covers the PLT program requirement of $11 towards the purch
 ase of the PLT guide & is paid directly to the Virginia PLT program throug
 h this platform. The workshop is offered with generous support from the Vi
 rginia Forestry Educational Foundation. * The additional $3 fee covers sit
 e preparation & cleaning at the host venue. * The Project WILD guide & sup
 plemental materials for this workshop are offered free of charge by the Vi
 rginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR). * Note that the guides incl
 ude activities for K-12 students\, but the workshop facilitators have chos
 en to focus on middle grade-level activities.
