Explore Your Environment & Aquatic WILD at the Mariners' Museum & Park

Pack a lunch, dress to be outdoors & join us for a great day  at the Mariners' Museum & Park.  We will meet in the Huntington Room. At the completion of this workshop, participants will receive a certificate of completion valid for eight continuing education units, an Explore Your Environment Project Learning Tree (PLT) guide, Project WILD's Aquatic WILD guide, & have the confidence & skills to use both projects' learning standards-aligned activities with students. 

*  The fee for this workshop covers the PLT program requirement of $11 towards the purchase of the PLT guide & is paid directly to the Virginia PLT program through this platform. The workshop is offered with generous support from the Virginia Forestry Educational Foundation.

* The Aquatic WILD guide & supplemental materials for this workshop are offered free of charge by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR).   

* Note that the guides include activities for K-12 students, but the workshop facilitators have chosen to focus on elementary & middle grade-level activities.
