Project WILD & Project Learning Tree Joint Workshop -- Northern Virginia 4-H Center

Pack a lunch, dress to be outdoors, & join us for a great day at Peters Lodge at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center.  At the completion of this workshop, participants will receive a certificate of completion valid for eight continuing education units, an Explore Your Environment PLT guide, a Project WILD guide, & have the confidence & skills to use PLT & Project WILD SOL-aligned activities with students. 

*  The fee for this workshop covers the PLT program requirement of $11 towards the purchase of the PLT guide & is paid directly to the Virginia PLT program through this platform. The workshop is offered with generous support from the Virginia Forestry Educational Foundation.

* The additional $3 fee covers site preparation & cleaning at the host venue. 

* The Project WILD guide & supplemental materials for this workshop are offered free of charge by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR).   

* Note that the guides include activities for K-12 students, but the workshop facilitators have chosen to focus on middle grade-level activities.
