for Middle and High School Science Teachers

July 31 – August 1 at New Kent Forestry Center 

(near Providence Forge)

  

What you’ll get: 14-hours of instruction in sustainable local forest management, forest ecology, and forest products; two SOL-correlated Project Learning Tree® modules and related teaching supplies; ideas for incorporating forestry field study into classes 

Cost: $25 (includes all materials plus light breakfast, lunch, and snacks both days); free lodging is available if traveling more than 45 minutes one way.
