Trees & Me & Growing Up WILD -- Joint early childhood professional development event at Natural Tunnel State Park

Pack a lunch, dress to be outdoors & indoors, & join us for a professional development event at the Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail Interpretive Center at Natural Tunnel State Park. 

Through funding for Project Learning Tree from the Sustainable Forestry Initiative's education grants to build nature education capacity in Southwest Virginia & for Project WILD from the Department of Conservation & Recreation's Office of Environmental Education, facilitators of this free professional development event will lead fun, engaging, standards-aligned activities. Participants will leave with the early childhood guides from both Project Learning Tree & Project WILD & will gain skills to run nature education activities with young learners.
