Trees & Me & Growing Up WILD -- Joint early childhood professional development event at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal

Pack an unrefrigerated lunch (or bring a cooler), dress to be outdoors & indoors, & join us for a professional development event at the Fairfax Shelter at Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal.

Registration is $11 which covers the Project Learning Tree professional development fee. Project WILD workshops are free to participants, thanks to support from the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR).

Facilitators of this professional development event will lead fun, engaging, standards-aligned activities. Participants will leave with the early childhood guides from both Project Learning Tree & Project WILD & will gain skills to run nature education activities with young learners. Activities in these early childhood guides are appropriate for children ages 1-6 & include National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) learning benchmarks as well as Virginia SOL correlations through Grade 2.
